Mackariba was created from a deep passion for food and culture. Garvin , originally from a small fishing community called Hector's River in the beautiful parish of Portland, Jamaica,grew up surrounded by rich bold flavours of traditional Jamaican cooking.

Located In Irvington, Mackariba is more than a restaurant, it's a community built on the love of Jamaican Heritage and passion for food and service. Inspired by a strong family tradition Garvin started cooking at the tender age of seven. Mackariba honors their legacy and shares authentic Jamaican dishes with a modern twist .

We aim to create a space where food brings people together. As we grow, our mission is to expand into other cities while staying true to our roots.
